Built in 1930 as the Main Library of the University of Cincinnati. Named the Blegen Library in 1983 after extensive renovations.
The Blegen Library entrance is framed by copper light standards, fluted pylons and stylized floral carvings. Above the doorway is a grille bearing a female figure amidst stylized owls, dolphins and rosettes.

Built in 1940, the Deer Park High School is a late example of the Moderne style, the broad facade dominated by a monumental arched entrance. The ribbon windows, which emphasized its horizontality, have been infilled, altering its appearance.
